Ameera is accepting new clients at a reduced fee. Ameera is a currently a Clinical Mental Heath student at Wichita State University and already has counseling experience. Ameera is developing further skills with supervision. Medicaid clients will be seen for free. All others are welcome to services ranging from $1 to $30 per session on a sliding scale. Ameera is accepting clients both virtual and in person while completing my internship hours through May of 2027.

Ameera is seeing clients of all backgrounds, with a focus on working with couples and individual adult counseling. Ameera also has experience with crisis counseling through working the suicide and mental health crisis hotlines. Ameera uses a person-centered approach, while also using aspects of CBT.

Interning with Rachel McDaniel, LSCSW, LCSW, LISW, SEP has allowed me to continue to grow in my journey to become a counselor and as an individual.
